Spent 6 seasons in college although he played only in three. Started in junior college and then reached the Division I level, played his final season as a graduate at Austin Peay. Named 2023-2024 ASUN Sixth Man of the Year, on March 4 was named Atlantic Sun Conference Newcomer of the Week.
A center with a solid body, tending to overweight, with very bulky legs and small feet. Knows how to move his feet quickly and is able to use his body in every situation of the game. He displays a good feel for position, a solid general coordination and a nice bipodal jump thrust.
Offensively speaking:
He’s a good low post finisher, moves with force and determination protecting his dribble enter, displays a good use of the pivot foot both when he begins the movement and when he finishes it. He almost exclusively uses his right hand in these types of solutions, shows a great execution in the James Worthy move, knows how to absorb contacts.
Plays deep seals, knows how to make himself small in the heart of the painted area
He has a very good feel for offensive rebounds, great ability to turn his own missed shots into offensive rebounds
Solid screener, shows a good body composure
Needs to improve his free-throw percentage
Defensively speaking there’s potential to work on:
He’s used to playing in a defensive switch system, displays a good technique in guarding smaller opponents
There’s room for improvement in his low-post defense, he displays a bad usage of his forearm
I believe he has the potential to play at the second European level, 2LSF, leagues like Greece, Belgium, Lithuania, Poland, and so on.
